How possible is it to me to get into MIT?

How possible is it to me to get into MIT?
Hello folks, As I'm planning to apply to MIT, I'm concerned about the university's requirements for applicants. I'm currently living in Brazil, so I should apply as an international student. Regarding the following SAT scores: 760 Math Level 2 780 Physics What are my chances of being accepted by the admissions office? Also, what can I do to improve my chances? Thanks in advance! Sandro

MIT acceptance rate is 10% and their international student population is under 8%. Even with your great SAT scores you still only have a slim chance of getting in.

Everyone applying to MIT has the highest grades in the hardest classes and very high test scores. You need that to get in, and then you need a lot more - science and math teams, original research, patents, experience in the field you're interested in, etc. Your test scores are average for MIT applicants and you didn't give any other information - your chances are less than 10%.

I think you should do Advanced Placement exams (check www.collegeboard.com) and Try doing any A-levels (if you can do that in your area). Contact the school(in M.I.T.) you want to enroll in and do what they tell you to.
