From London to Brazil via France - is transit visa needed?
I have an Indian passport and I wish to travel to Brazil via Paris on Air France. I do not have a schengen visa but I do have a Brazil visa and I am on a student visa in the UK. Do I need a transit visa for Paris even though I'm staying there for less than 2 hours and I have an on-going flight?

You need a transit visa in between your trips.

You don't need a transit visa because you'll not be allowed to exit the airport unless you manage to take a different flight.

Citizens of India need an Airport Transit Visa (ATV) even if they stay within the transit area of a France airport. The visa requirement however applies only when nationals are not in possession of a valid visa or residence permit for a Member State of the EU or a State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area of 2 May 1992, Canada, Switzerland or the United States. So if your UK student visa is still valid you may transit the France Airport without ATV. You must however stay in the transit area.
