How would an American college student begin the process of registering for a University in Brazil?
The reason being that I would like to live and work in Brazil

First you should find out which school you would like to attend and request information from them. Look at their website and figure out how much it would cost and what the requirements are and you should definitely call and find out how you would be able to fund the education. See if they have a counselor that deals with out of country students and go from there.
