How does a typical day for a middle school student go at school in BRAZIL?
i am doing a 2 minute report in front of the whole class. I need to know how a typical day for a student in middle school. Like the school timings(starting-ending),lunch,subjects,school activities after school,etc. Can u tell me how a day for a middle school student goes? If you dont know then dont answer

I'm Brazilian and I can help you. Classes, normally, begin at 7:00 AM and the duration can vary if part time, it end at noon. If the class is full time, at 5:00 PM. At night (most, technical schools), classes are from 7:00 PM to 10:10PM. All classes has TV and DVD as tools for education and computers are largely used. Books are free for those who studies in public schools and now, Brazilian government is buying one laptop for student. The common disciplines for all High Schools are: Math, Portuguese (our official idiom), History, Geography, English, Literature, Philosophy, Arts, Environment, Physical Education, Sexual education, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Brazilians are very funny and the classes are funny, also. Most classes are very informal and many teachers make jokes to teach and other, sing and/or dance. Music is used as a method to memorize difficult themes in Sciences or historic facts. Students are not allowed to consult any book or sheet (like periodical elements) during the tests and the concepts are A, B+, B, C+, C, D and E. All school have an interval of 30 or 40 min. after two or three classes, before other two or three classes. Many people plays volleyball, others hear MP3, other talk about nothing and everything, and makes lunch, of course. Lunchs are bought if you studies in a particular school. So, people eats hamburgers, hot dog, snacks and beverage or fresh. Public schools serves complete dinner with a cup of fresh. Some schools (all public schools and some particular) uses uniforms. Some other, not. Some students goes to the schools in their own cars and others are taken by their parents. Many others goes in public buses and some goes walking, when they lives near their schools. We have not the culture of "Winners " and "loosers", "Sexy" and "Uglies", "Good" or "Bad". So, you can see very ugly guys talking with very sexy and hot girls. Brazilians are just like any people in Western nations, but, much more funny.
